Sayed Maisam Wahidi is a visiting Phd fellow at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at Hamburg University (IFSH). Previously, he was the founder and Executive Director of Research and Advocacy Organization for Development (RAOD), based in Kabul Afghanistan.

Mr. Wahidi was a visiting fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, Kennedy School Harvard University in 2013. Mr. Wahidi also served at the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs as official employee and senior research analyst at Center for Conflict and Peace Studies (CAPS), an Afghan local think tank based in Kabul, Afghanistan. He was a consultant with UN and international organizations working on governance, strategic advocacy, political participation, election, gender, peace and radicalization. 

Mr. Wahidi has a Bachelors degree of Law (LLB) from Tehran University, Iran and Master’s degree in International Studies (Cooperation & Development) from Yonsei University, South Korea.
