The Federal Minister of Education and Research Bettina Start-Watzinger has appointed Prof. Dr Ursula Schröder to the Board of Trustees of the German Foundation for Peace Research (DSF). The term of office is four years. IFSH Director Ursula Schröder was a member of the Foundation’s Advisory Board from 2020 to 2022. The German Foundation for Peace Research was founded by the federal government in October 2000. It supports projects in the field of peace and conflict research and promotes academic studies and events. The foundation is located in Osnabrück. The Foundation Board defines the foundation’s basic orientation, reviews the activities of the executive board and defines measures that serve to fulfil the foundation’s mission.
