The IFSH is seeking to fill the following position as soon as possible:

Researcher (m/w/d) (full-time)
(Pay group EG 13 TV-AVH, initially limited to three years with possible extension).

The position falls under the IFSH research area European Peace and Security Orders and the Centre for OSCE Research (CORE). We are seeking a researcher (m/w/d) with experience in editing academic and policy-related publications and whose research interests relate to European security.

The position holder will be responsible for editing the new IFSH series OSCE Insights. The policy briefs in this series are aimed primarily at decision-makers and officials from the OSCE and OSCE participating States and are published throughout the year in English, German and Russian.

In addition, the position holder will contribute to further developing the IFSH’s research on European security. Key themes could include: regional organizations such as the OSCE, the EU, NATO, the Council of Europe, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization, as well as the role of regional organizations in conflict management, human rights, democratization and security sector reform.
