From February 26-28 and March 4-6 IFSH Hamburg held two workshops of the Deep Cuts Commission. The topics of the two workshops were "Avoiding Strategic Instability" and "Improving European Security". Amongst the various guests were Robert Legvold (Columbia University), Kevin Ryan (Belfer Center), Lukasz Kulesa (ELN), Kadri Liik (ECFR) and additional internationally renowned experts. The discussions present the basis for the forthcoming Third Report of the Deep Cuts Commission, slated for publication in May 2016.
