On 7 December, IFSH organized the Fifth Interdisciplinary Central Asia Day, which addressed “New Tendencies in and around Central Asia: Domestic Developments, Regional Cooperation and External Relations”.
The workshop brought together researchers from Germany, Sweden and Czech Republic, who work on different themes related to the Central Asian region, to discuss their ongoing research projects as well as recent political and economic developments in the region.
Presentations were organized within three thematic panels: “Local perspectives on peace and activities of NGOs”, “Domestic political and economic developments” and “Central Asia and China”.
