Closer Cooperation with Harvard University

Dr Ulrich Kühn, head of the research area Arms Control and Emerging Technologies, has  recently been appointed as an associate member of the 'Managing the Atom' programme (MTA) at Harvard University. His membership will initially last for one year, enabling the IFSH to continue building on existing cooperation mechanisms with the renowned university, such as the recent collaborative project, 'Rethinking Nuclear Deterrence'. The MTA forms part of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School, conducting politically relevant research on nuclear weapons, nuclear energy, nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament.
