On Monday April 28, 2014 Deep Cuts Commissioners Neuneck (IFSH), Kühn (IFSH), Miasnikov (Centre for Arms Control and Environmental Studies), Thielmann (ACA), and Pifer (Brookings Institution) released their first report at an event at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. At the well-attended event, the five Commissioners concentrated on the need to maintain and broaden the existing West-Russian arms control dialogue, eben in times of severe crisis. In the ensuing discussion, particularly the revitalization of the system of Conventional Arms Control in Europe was extensively discussed. You can listen to a podcast of the event here.
