The OSCE Network recently elected its new Network Coordinators and Steering Committee. Cornelius Friesendorf (IFSH) and Stefan Wolff (University of Birmingham) were elected Co-Coordinators, and the new Steering Committee members are Hylke Dijkstra, Mette Eilstrup-Sangiovanni, Nargis Kassenova, Barbara Kunz, Ida Manton, Philip McDonagh, Gaetano Pentassuglia, Giray Sadik, Andrei Zagorski, and Benno Zogg. The OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions is a Track II initiative. It supports cooperative and comprehensive security in the OSCE area by providing policy advice, enhancing transnational civil society interaction, and raising awareness of the OSCE.
Network members recently held two workshops, one in Warsaw discussing conventional arms control (report available here), and one in Vienna as part of the Network project on transnational human rights defenders (report coming soon).
