On 9 may 2012, Isabelle Maras chaired a panel discussion on „Revolutionen in der arabischen Welt. Herausforderungen und Chancen für Europa“ in the Hanse Lounge. The event was organised by the Katholische Friedenstiftung and the Bank Vontobel Europa AG. The participants were General a.D. Schneiderhan, General inspector of the Bundeswehr (retired), Ms. Almut Möller, Head of the Alfred von Oppenheim Center for European Policy Studies at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), Christophe Bernard, Chief strategist at the Bank Vontobel, and Prof. Dr. Heinz-Gerhard Justenhoven, Director of the Institute for Theology and Peace.
