On April 30, members of the Deep Cuts Commission met in New York at the side-lines of the NPT Review Conference for a public discussion focussing on the recommendations of the 2nd Report of the Commission. Together with Steven Pifer (Brookings) and Victor Mizin (IMEMO), Götz Neuneck discussed the role of the NPT and the so called "P5" process. The panel also included Angela Kane (High Representative for Disarmament Affairs of the United Nations) and Patricia Flor (German Commissioner for Arms Control).
