The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) approved the extension for another period of one year of the consortional project TERAS-INDEX. The additional work package will elaborate - besides the ongoing research on the impact of international conflicts - on the impact of the so called Arab Spring on Islamist radicalisation processes in Europe. The focus will be on theimpact of the violent escalations in Libya and Syria as well as on the impact of the Salafi movements in Tunisia and Egypt.
