In this new OSCE Insights contribution Asel Doolotkeldieva presents the development of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek since its inception in 2002. In a comprehensive analysis Doolotkeldieva assesses the achievements of the Academy in higher education, research, and internationalization. These achievements are weighed against the financial and institutional challenges the Academy is facing in a strained geopolitical environment. The paper closes with recommendations that address these issues.
