On 18 May, Dr. Ulrich Kühn moderated a panel on the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty. The occasion for the panel was the annual Lennart Meri Conference—named after the former Estonian president—in Tallinn, Estonia. Alongside James Anderson, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy, Plans and Capabilities, the US Department of Defense, and the Swedish minister of defence Peter Hultqvist, Kühn discussed the future of the New START treaty and European security after the demise of the INF Treaty.
