From 23-28 October 2017, the first of three intensive workshops of the Eurasia Peace Studies Exchange Network took place at Ilia State University in Tbilisi. As planned at the Coordination meeting in Tromsö in June 2017, eleven academic teachers and fifteen PhD students, graduates and master students from Germany, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Norway and Ukraine dicussed together perspectives for peace research in Europe and Eurasia. For IFSH Diana Alpysbaeva, Anna Kreikemeyer, Yaiza Rojas Matas and Biniam Yemane participated. The second coordination meeting of thir three-year project is planned for April 2018 at IFSH in Hamburg.
