The OSCE could become a key institution for diplomatic talks concerning the Ukraine conflict. (c) OSCE/Micky Kroell

The conflict over Ukraine continues to escalate. A recently published letter from the Russian Foreign Ministry criticizes the seemingly one-sided interpretation of the OSCE principle of the "indivisibility of security" by NATO member states. In their article for the website War on the Rocks, Alexander Graef and Ulrich Kühn focus on the volatile historical development of this principle and recommend a Helsinki 2.0 Conference of States, similar to the 1975 Helsinki Conference.

Their commentary "A Letter from Moscow: (In)divisible Security and Helsinki 2.0" of Feb. 14, 2022 on War on the Rocks can be read here.
