On James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies’ Webinar Series on Nuclear Threats and the war in the Ukraine Dr. Ulrich Kühn with Dr. Nikolai Sokov (VCDNP) and Dr. Hanna Notte (VCDNP), discussed the risk of nuclear weapons use in the context of the Ukraine war. In his opening remarks Ulrich Kühn talks about the risks of a deliberate, inadvertent and/or accidental escalation of the current crisis. While the nuclear risk at the moment is low, it is not zero, and there is a fine line to walk.
