Closures of interstate borders and restrictions on freedom of travel were among the first measures taken by states to halt the Covid 19 pandemic. But now, argues Elvira Rosert in an article for the Global Policy Journal, the issue of border closures must be addressed proactively - for it can become an important tool in global pandemic control.
